3rd class presented'Friends' in assembly this week. They spoke about what being a friend means and sang 'You've got a friend in me'. Their artwork is outside their classroom. Have a look.

Mr Molloy and Ms Heppenstall brought us over to the science lab where we learned about energy.

We then had great fun examining how far air propelled cars could travel.

We were put in teams and had to measure how far the cars moved over three turns.

It was great fun .

3rd class went on a trip to Carrickbrennan Cemetery as the final part of their project on the history of this local cemetery.They enjoyed every minute of it and weren't scared at all.

As the boys in 3rd class haven't been able to build snowmen over the Christmas they thought they should paint some instead.

Third Class used stones twigs and fir cones to make a variety of weird and wonderful creations.

The boys made 'Grass Head Men' which was grass seed on compost in a stocking to which we attached eyes. we then watered them and waited for their 'hair' to grow. Some were more follicly challenged  than others!!
