The final of the Conker Competition took place today in the assembly hall  and there was great excitement all day in the lead up to the final. After a long battle fought valiantly by both finalists Gavin and Matthew a winner emerged. Matthew was delighted to accept the trophy from last year's winner Padraig. Well done to both contestants.

Team Hope came to the school today to collect the Christmas shoeboxes very generously donated by the boys and their families. Many thanks to all who sent in boxes.

Great excitement today as the scary cakes arrive! Amazing as always...

It is Jersey Day as well so no pressure to see who wins the 'Guess the teacher's jerseys' competition not to mention the prizes for the most unusual jerseys worn by the boys.

The boys of 2nd Class made ghosts from kitchen towel and string and gave them scary faces. They are now adorning the plants on one of the school landings. (The ghosts,not the boys!)

Aidan brought in a large collection of insects which the boys were very interested in. Aidan wants to be an entomologist when he grows up.

The boys from 4th Class made wristbands by plaiting wool. The chose the school colours so they can wear them to the cup matches.

At Assembly on Friday 5th Class told us about their trip to Dalkey Heritage Centre. They found out lots of interesting facts on the living history tour.
