2nd Class Studying the different flowers and habitats around the school grounds

There was lots of hard work going on for the Biodiversity flag in 2nd class during this week for Earth Week.

Each student delivered a project about one of the following; A flower, habitats around our school or a Mini beast project.

Some new facts I learnt......

"Did you know the scientific name for a woodlice is 'Oniscidea' ? "

or did you know "Some male dung beetles have strong horns on their heads ?"

and "Centipedes have poor eyesight ?"

For more amazing facts check out the photos of our 2nd class projects.
