February was another busy month for Senior Infants! The senior and junior infants students explored the theme of the dentist during Aistear. We discussed how often our teeth should be brushed and what foods are good and bad for our teeth. They were very busy brushing and cleaning their teeth.
Senior Infants have also been learning all about Australia. We looked at didgeridoos, boomerangs and Australian animals. We even watched some videos from the Australian zoo! The boys all loved watching the animals.
The class have also been loving the music lessons with Martin. The drums are definitely a favourite in the class. Looking forward to hearing more music from them.
We also explored the theme of gardening in Aistear. Both junior and senior infants planted some herbs and flowers. We are excited to see them all grow.
We have been enjoying the swimming lessons and have been working very hard. February also included Pancake Tuesday, which was exciting! Thank you to the parent's committee for all the yummy pancakes!
