What a few weeks it has been for 6th class. They have certainly made the most of their final time in the junior school.
They got to celebrate their graduation in school, like the pre-covid days, YESSS! After the annual boys versus dads football match they were treated to pizzas in the school hall with their families. After that they were presented with their hoodies and their fun awards. The hoodies have been worn every day since.
Over the weekend they were taken to Carlingford with their dads. Needless to say there was lots of fun and shenanigans on their trip away. Thank you so much to all the parents who helped arrange everything for the students and make their end of year such a special one.
The Confirmation could also take place. It was lovely to be able to get together in the church to celebrate these young people. They all went off to nice places after it, like hotels, restaurants and picnics.
An Taisce came to visit us to do a Woodland workshop with us all. We really enjoyed exploring our wonderful schoolground, we are so spoilt to have it all on our doorstep. We had great fun measuring and counting trees and looking for bugs.
Finally, 6th class was honoured with a breakfast in school this morning. Just a little thank you from me, their teacher for a great and very productive year.
I wish the class off 22 only the best for their future and can't wait to hear their new adventures from 1st year. Alizia Gisler
