We have had a busy term settling back into life in school. But we are all very excited that our Halloween midterm break is around the corner.
We are practising for your Halloween Parade event. The class has decided that we will be doing a dance for the “Spooky Scary Skeleton” song. They have been watching tutorials and really getting into the swing of it.
Our Conker Competition is also under way. Round one in all the classes has now been completed and we are looking forward to round two. The competition is certainly hotting up. Usually we have one overall winner in the school, but this year there is one winner in each class.
We tried our hands at sundials. We had a few lovely sunny days where we could test them out.
Our Junior Entrepreneur Journey also has been kicked off. The class came up with their individual ideas, made prototypes and posters. Just this morning they presented their ideas to the dragons at the Dragon’s Den section of the programme. Each of the students pitched their ideas really well and sold their products excellently to the dragons. Anthony and Ciaran spoke about their bath bombs and coasters, Senan about his stress ball, Oliver showed his bracelets, Oscar had made a floating key ring, Theo and Calum presented the woollen heart on the board and Nathan showed is “Skathan” book. Only one could be the winner. Congratulations to Theo and Calum! We are all looking forward to getting hammering.
