Last Week In First Class

We have come to the end of another year and, unusual as it has been, Covid 19 hasn’t manage to dampen the spirit of the First Class students. They stayed close, even though they were far apart, throughout the year.

The last week of school was business as usual. learning lots of new things and having fun.

Over the week the boys received their End Of Year Certificates for working so hard, both remotely and at school during their year in First Class. Each day a different group of boys took turns at being the Students of The Day.

One of the highlights of the week was a socially-distanced visit to our class from one of our lovely cleaners, Margaret. We wanted to thank her for keeping us safe throughout the year. We are very grateful to her for always keeping our classroom spick and span. We hope she has a lovely summer after all her hard work.

In other news,

Tejjas got the coolest haircut we have ever seen.

It was lovely to see Alexandru’s grandmother waiting outside the school at collection time, along with his Mum and baby sister.

Another day during the week, we got a big surprise when Cooper’s puppy came to collect him from school (with Cooper’s Mum of course). We were delighted and relieved to hear that puppy has been fully vaccinated this week!

Summer holidays have come at last. It’s time for the boys to head off to the sunshine and recharge their batteries in preparation for another year of fun and friendships.

Happy summer everyone.
