Senior Infants have been little superstars and working really hard learning online over the last few weeks. They have been learning all about what a plant needs to grow from a little tiny seed into a fully grown plant. They also learned about the different parts of a plant and went on a plant hunt in their gardens to see what different types of plants they could find.
We also read a story about kindness and discussed ways we can show kindness to others. As a class we decided to share some kindness by making some kindness rocks and hiding them in our neighbourhoods. This was great fun and really allowed us to get creative. Check out some of the beautiful rocks designed by the children below.

As we were studying plants we read the story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and had great fun learning all about perspective drawings in art by drawing the Giant and the beanstalk. Have a look at the results. They're amazing!
