In addition to fully equipped classrooms, we have a dedicated Music Room and comprehensive school Library.
While the core subjects are taught by the class teachers, specialist teachers are employed to teach Drama, Music, PE and Singing.
The School also employs a Resource Teacher who provides a limited amount of learning support.
We also place a strong emphasis on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Arts) Education within our school. We encourage an inquiry based learning approach which focuses on investigating open-ended questions within various subject areas of the curriculum. This encourages each child to develop critical thinking skills and become active participants in their own learning journey. We take part in National Science, Maths and Engineering weeks throughout the school year and encourage the pupils to participate in group projects within each class. We also hold an art exhibition during the school year which is done in conjunction with CBC Senior School Arts Week. We come together as one school community to celebrate the 'Arts' within both schools.
